I just got a flyer with the bosch colt / jigsaw combo for 149. Is that a good deal?
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

I'd say! The router goes for $119 by itself. Not sure which jigsaw you're getting with it but if its the 1590 then definitely a good deal.
you are looking at what is considered by many to be the best Jig saw (depending what jig saw it is) and the best "trim" router current out. I have both and love them. I would Jump at this in a heart beat.

Even if they were reconditioned units it would still be a good price.. Jump
Well, apparently it is a good deal! I just went to my local rockler for lunch and a big sign on the door, indicated they wer sold out! They took my name and said they were trying to get more.
I think the part that irritates me is the flyer arrived in my mailbox yesterday, and the sale was effective 10/31. No surprise there are no more!
Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

I ordered the same thing from International Tool a month ago. Due to back-orders it was finally shipped yesterday so they had at least one a few days ago. http://www.internationaltool.com

U Da Man!! Thanks. (no offense if you happen to be a lady)Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
That is a hell of a deal. I paid almost that much for the factory reconditioned jigsaw. It is a great saw though. I had never used a jigsaw that would make a cut I would use for anything that showed. I wouldn't hesitate to use that jigsaw for any cut.
