I have bought several Bosch tools over the years. Each has been exceptional!
So, it wasn’t difficult when I was looking to get a router table, buy the Bosch! That was a mistake. Now, the table isn’t exactly inexpensive, but it is cheap. The aluminum table top leaves black oxide trails on wood. The plastic insert was warped. The expectations high, results low.
If you ever need a router table, I guess it’s really best to just build your own. If you must buy, I suggest you review them carefully before you buy. Bosch, I’m afraid I’m going to have to go back to carefully investigating before I buy again. Sorry.
Anyone else have experience with this table?

I do not have one but I have used one a friend of mine has... Seems to work OK...
Sure not the best there is but very 'useable'... Wax on the aluminum table will help a lot...
The plastic insert was warped.. They will wear out or get cut someday so bite the bullet and make a few right now while it is still in one hunk... I use ASH.. Tough old wood and easy to work with...
Use the original as a pattern and hog a few out with a good pattern bit... Make as many as you can with different sized holes for the bits you use...
Hi Dave, Well there are lots of very good router tables on the market but as far as I know none of them are made by the router manufacturers.
I believe you're right. And as far as the prior message about making some new inserts? Nah....ain't worth it. I'm going to salvage the fence and on/off switch from the Bosch (well, modify the fence a bit I guess) and build my own. I'm hogging out some parts now for a lift and have plenty of scraps of melamine taking up space in the sheet goods storage area so....At least I won't be able to complain about that one huh?
