Bow and slight twist in coffee table leg framework. Need advice!
I’m building a small coffee table that is 34” long. I glued it up but unfortunately it’s wasn’t correct and the legs did not sit plat. So I took it apart and discovered one of the long stringers has a bow and twist, of 3/32 bow and maybe 1/32 twist. How to remove? Do you think it would really affect the frame that much, but it did. Or was it faulty clamping? The frame rocked and one leg was off the floor 1/4”!

Now that you have it apart, It would be easy enough to straighten it by carefully jointing it using your jointer and/or planer. However, doing so will change the size of the piece. Your best option is to remake the twisted/bowed piece using a piece of straight lumber. I have no experience with this, but I suppose you could try steaming it and then forcing it straight.
You can chase it down or take 1/8” off 2 legs and save yourself a lot of aggravation.
WW’ing Rule #8 Nobody will know but you.

Robert is right, adjusting leg length is quite common after assembly.
Yup. Trim the legs.
That's what I would do (and have done numerous times).
Got it fixed! The problem was in one of the rails, it twisted or was twisted therefor causing one the the legs to lift. Joined the twisted board and problem solved!
