Where can I buy brass template guides for a PC router? I’m also looking for brass dado shims.

Lee Valley has the guides.

They also have a nice set of 1-3/16" Router Plate Inserts.

I have read comments that the brass guides were better then the steel ones that PC sells. I have some of both and I prefer the brass ones.
I prefer the steel ones.....more accurately made than any of the brass ones I've seen. I know a number of solid surface fabricators (serious router users), and they all swear by the P-C steel ones.cabinetmaker/college woodworking instructor. Cape Breton, N.S
Agree on that.
Routers
I got my dado shims from Woodworker's Warehouse (now defunct) but I thought I saw them in Woodworker's Supply Catalog.
If you want to make your own thin ones, swing by any offset printer and ask them for some junk / used aluminum printing plates. Plates can be polymer, paper, or soft aluminum. The aluminum is about 3 - 5 sheets of paper thick and can be cut with scissors. Sandwich them between ply of Masonite, drill the 1/2" arbor hole, then cut what ever diameter you need. As far as balance, they weigh nothing so I don't think neatness is required for the circumference but mine are about 4" round.

Woodcraft has them.
If you do and online search, you get many hits on them. They are fairly common item out there.
Thank you,
