Brazilian RoseWood
Unless I'm not up on my game as far as wood goes, is there something I need to know about someone taking you away to the funny farm if you sell this project made of said wood mentioned??? Obamba has not put a White House order on wood yet keeping you from selling it. Hell, even if he did...sell baby sell!!! You show the White coats who is in charge. I don't see it being a problem. Best of luck in your project.

You might want to do a Google search on Gibson Guitar and how the Obama Justice Department confiscated their stock of currently-harvested and well-documented supply. A single piece might not draw the same sort of attention, but one never knows.
What Brazilian Rosewood? ;-)
I doubt that you would be able to put together documentation that would satisfy current international regs. I'd be tempted to use it for something personal, sign your dad's name and date it 30 years ago.
i doubt
that ther would be any problem with using existing stock. does the US have a problem with it coming into the country..I thought that Brazil had put an embargo on it years ago. the last log that i got of it was in the late 80's and it had been through a fire. that got around the embargo
