I recently purchased a Bridgewood 310 3HP shaper with a sliding table. Already really loving it for cope cuts on cabinet doors. Came with 1/2”, 3/4”, and 1” spindles but the manual says it can also accommodate an 1 1/4” spindle. Any advice on where I can purchase one or would bushings be sufficient enough on the 1” spindle. Thanks in advance.

A wood shaper, usually just shaper in North America or spindle moulder in the UK and Europe, is a stationary woodworking machine in which a vertically oriented spindle drives cutter heads to mill profiles on wood stock. The wood being fed into a moulder is commonly referred to as either stock or blanks.
