Hey All,
I’m new to pocket screws and I have a question. I bought the PC production cutter for an upcoming series of face frames and I bought the PC screws with it. I have used it only on Brazilian cherry and I am CONSTANTLY breaking screws!! Is that par for the course, cheap screws, tough wood or is it me?
Thanks!!
John

At what point are the screws breaking? Before they bottom out? Might be worth trying them on some ply etc, see if they still break. I have had screws break but it is very rare. I mostly use American Ash BTW, I have no experience of Brazilian Cherry, if it's not the screws then I would try waxing the screws before inserting them
