Hi,
My name is Gerald La Starza and I am a relatively new woodworker/furniture designer.
I recently started a blog called BrooklynModern, that covers the furniture making culture of Brooklyn, NY, where many people are making all types of furniture out of everything from high end wood to reclaimed wood from torn down tenements. Some of the features of the blog are interviews, videos, and a bunch of links that relate to general furniture design and local people. The blog can be viewed at:

The help I have gotten from Knots has been an indispensable resource for my own furniture making. I was wondering if any of you can take a peek at my blog and offer ways to improve it and maybe forward some valuable links that you use for your projects.
Thanks for your help and I look forward to your comments.
Sincerely,
G La Starza

Very nice site. It's organized well and while the style is not my cup of tea, I loved the shaker vids! Again, flowed well!
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
Thank you!
