Brown Adhesive for powermatic disk sander-
I am looking for an adhesive that was used years ago to apply a abrasive disk to a stationary sander.
You would peel back the tube and hold it against the metal disk to melt and apply evenly.
Shut machine off apply abrasive disk and secure by turning on machine and running a scrape piece of wood from the center to the edge. It wasvery easy to remove and apply.
Is ther any seasoned woodworks that can remember this? Do they make it anymore?

Yep, I still have stick adhesive for my disc sander and old (non-PSA) sanding discs. I'm not sure if the stuff is still made, though, since most of the newer discs appear to be pre-glued or hook-and-loop. I've seen hook-and-loop conversion kits advertised.
