That's a difficult prospect.
If you can afford it, then buying an after-market fence would be really good. This may cost 'more than the saw' but with a really good fence, that is not a bad saw at all.

A decent biesemeyer style fence is not really that hard to make with basic tools if you are patient and can get hold of a suitable length of appropriate aluminum extrusion and a few bits of steel plate and rod - all should be easily available in a big box store. It will take ages, but is not technically challenging and does not need fancy tools. No welding is involved!
If that is too much, then a T-Square style fence will work well enough as long as you can make it parallel with the blade.
Otherwise, sell the saw or buy a broken one for 'parts' - just make sure you get the fence this time!
As for the router plate adapter, it is just a plank with a hole cut in it. Nothing special - needs to be reasonably thick and shimmable to fit. Not a challenge to make if you have a table saw with a fence and a router!
Didn't there used to be forums or groups dedicated to this saw? I did a Google search on 'BT3000 Forum' and got a lot of hits. Definitely NOT trying to chase you away. Just trying to point you at some good resources ;-)
I was just thinking the same thing. Something like BT3K or something. I think it wound up morphing into a different forum when it started getting a lot of traffic. I have heard really cool things about this saw. Enough people were obsessed with it to start a forum!
I had one years back, and agree that it had some great attributes, which was why I chose it. For Christmas, the kids bought me every accessory made, most of which I never used. Back then, I was working in an open carport and had to disassemble it every use and move it to a corner, then reassemble the next night. I gave it to a friend, and it's been sitting in storage for 10 years - he might consider selling it if you're near NW GA.
That will be awesome, ask him and let me known i located on Cartersville Ga.
I have a BT-3000 (original owner). It has been a pretty good table saw for the simple projects that I have done over the years.
Last year we moved from California to Colorado. The movers broke my fence (as well as a few other things) and I kept searching eBay until I found one. I was able to find a fence in very good condition. My saw is back to 100%.
I would keep searching local classifieds such as eBay. One will eventually turn up.
Good luck!
Thanks everyone I read every day all comments.
