Hello,
I’m brand new to epoxying and apparently made the mistake of trying to epoxy over small bug holes (serving tray). Just my second coat, but I see that the epoxy will not fill the holes and leaves a little crater around it. Any suggestions? Thank you!

You need to fill the holes before applying the epoxy.
I use 2 part epoxy to fill the holes before sanding and finishing. You can mix fine sawdust in it to get closer color.
Push as much epoxy as you can into the hole, put some tape over it, and flip it face down while it cures.
Thanks everyone. Mj, that sounds like a good process, much appreciated.
