There . . . that’s better; see first pic.
Organic peaches from Mesa Winds Farm in Hotchkiss Colorado. Traded lessons in how to spoke up (build) bicycle wheels for a flat of peaches. Yuuuummm YUM ! ! ! Very juicy. Much better than those tasteless lookalike round things they pass off for peaches at the national supers.
NOW that I have had my coffee and a little something, down to business :
The boys are back see other pics. There were three big ones this time. I am planning for the future. Since I don’t want to bang away with cap and ball in the back yard ( neighbors might frown on it ) I am thinking sleigh. Rather than ride my bicycle to work this winter as usual why not give these loafers a job. You know . . . idle hooves are the devils play ground and all that.
They are deer right ? Just like Rudolph. Well sort of.
Have any of you built a sleigh ?
Are deer union ?

I'm not sure, but I've heard that harness breaking the wild ones can be problematic. ;-)

May be more " performance " than I am looking for through town though.rocGive me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe. Abraham Lincoln ( 54° shaves )
Ah I remember the Klondike derby's with my son. Good times. I was married by a judge - I should have asked for a jury.George Burns
Get out the bow!
Those fine looking lads would have fallen under Magua's knife had they wandered past my back door. (In a few more weeks, that is!)
Nice racks, too.
Interesting idea Roc. I've thought about it a few times over the years. Seems like it would be quite the project to build a really nice one like an Albany Cutter with lots of bright work. Would also be a kick to build a sweet little Surrey with all the bells and whistles. Dang--now those ideas will be rattling around in my head for a few weeks.

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to cut it up and make something with it . . . what a waste!
