Is there a web site where I can get some valuable information on building shop cabinets? I have used google but only to find sites advertizing cabinet making books or sites of contractors making cabinets.
thanks,
Dimitri

Dimitri ,
Are you asking for plans , advice or want to know more about methods ? Here on this site if you ask a question you may get several answers , enough to get you in the right direction .Then you can refine or define what it is you want to know .

I would like advice and how-to methods. I have a plan already but I want to learn more about cabinet building in general.

My very first project was building Norm's "Garage Workshop". It features wall cabinets separated by shelving.. and a large workbench with cabinets underneath with slide out shelves. It also has two seperate sections. One has a flip top work area.. the other houses a miter saw station.
The plans and video walk you right through the entire process and is available at the New Yankee Workshop website.
Take a look.. I think you might like it.
It is difficult to give you some direction without knowing anything about the range of equipment you have available.
Shop cabinets are a favorite topic for most of the woodworking mags -- especially Shop Notes and Wood. Here is a link to the former (plus their sister publication, Woodsmith):

The late Danny Proulx had a good book on workshop storage. You might find helpful

Ron, I am constantly amazed by your absolute ignorance and your ability to bring any thread straight into the toilet.
