My wife, Sandy, and I are privilaged to own two Papillon dogs. These toy dogs are intelligent, playfull, lovable, and want to please people. With my full support Sandy has become involved with a Papillon rescue group which is dedicated to finding foster and permanent homes for these precious creatures, if the need arises. Please visit their site at www.pap911rescueadoption.org Below is a pic of our female Millie.

That's great ... animals need all the help they can get, that is for SURE!
A rather odd thing about some "rescuers"- some time ago I was volunteering to walk dogs at a local pound (talk about animals that need help!!!) and I came to find out that there are some folks that are involved in breed-specific "rescue" that are ALSO breeders for the same type of animal ... that seems rather contradictory to me ....

If you check out the "pap911" site you will find that we don't adopt out a dog until it has been house trained, socialized, AND NEUTERED. Many of these animals have spent their lives in cages being used in puppy mills. We give them a chance at the simple life. And in all fairness, most all breeds have rescue organizations which can be found with a Google search.

Ugh ... "puppy mills". Wow are they horrible.
If dogs ARE man's best friend, Yikes! :-(
