I am going to mount Thai wood carvings (36″L x14″W x 1.5″ thick) to cabinet door frames frame made of 1” mahogany. These will be attached to a 1” thick mahogany face frame mounted to a standard 3/4” cabinet box (I have a good amount of 4 side planed 1″ x 6″ x 48″ mahogany that I want to use for frames) I’d like to use Blum inset hinges but have no idea how to compute what size hinge I’d need. The overall door thickness will be 2 3-8 to 2.5” and pretty heavy with the combo of teak carvings and mahogany frames. Thanks.

Attached is Blum's hinge chart. There are not really different sizes of Euro Hinges. There are different types, different degree of swing and features such as self-close or soft-close or free-swing or push to open. The Euro Hinge people are more concerned with size of the door. In my experience I would use at least four hinges on each of the doors that you have described. Also if you go with a wide swing degree that has multi pivot points they will tend to sag more than a lesser degree hinge with fewer pivot points. Hope this helps.
Thanks!
