I have some new European kitchen wall cabinets with doors that are hinged at the top and swing up from the bottom edge.
The gadgets that hold the door open seem to be spring loaded. They are pretty bad, have a rough motion and tend to slip, dropping the door a bit. There is one on each end of the door. These extend from 6 inches when closed to about 10 inches fully opened.
Anyone know if there are pneumatic ‘lifters’ like those you might find on the back door of a hatchback auto?
Or any other suggestions for replacements?
Thanks

My shop installs only pneumatic lifters on our kitchen doors. They have load ratings such as 10 kg, 15 kg, etc. A small door might take a 5 kg lifter, while a large one might use 2 lifters of 10 kg for instance. Our are all made in Europe.
I don't see any info in your profile as to location. A good supplier of kitchen cabinet hardware will have them.
