Recently I saw an ad for a machine that made Cabinet doors. As I remember the machine was under $1,500.00. Can’t remember where or when. Does anyone have the info?

The name of the equipment I think you are looking for is Weaver Machine Co. They make an inexpensive piece of equipment with several stations for making all parts of panel doors. i was looking at their web page the other night. I have also saw their diaplay at a local Woodworking Show. The basic price was under $2000.00 and the Amish in the area were very serious about buying this piece of equipment as many use it in their custom shops.
We currently use the 3 shaper Weaver system. The single shaper system runs about $8000. The 3 shaper system runs about $14,000. If I could by a Weaver system for $2000. I would buy it. There is one out there made by RBI. Not sure on the price. Looked at it before buying the Weaver. Not near the machine as a Weaver or any other shaper. If your budget is only around $1500 then I would seriously look into setting up a couple of good router tables with good tooling. Unless you are building a lot of doors, it will be hard to justify a dedicated system for door mfg. Hope this helps.
