I am looking for software to help me design and build custom cabinates. I have a small one man shop and do mostly built-in’s, entertainment centers and shelves (no Kitchens). Does anyone know which software would be best for design and cut lists? I don’t want to spend a fortune but I want to get something that really works.
Thanks

You don't have to spend anything for eCabinet Systems software. Check it out here.

I use both E Cabinets & DeltaCad. The ECabinets is great for kitchens but if I want to draw something else I use DeltaCad. You can get a trial version of DeltaCad at DeltaCad.com.

Why do you use deltacad instead of ecabinets? Does it provide cut lists? My wife offered to get me autocad lt for christmas is this a good solution?
I have registered for ecabinets and will check it out.
DeltaCad does not provide a cut list. Most of the things I build are not kitchen cabinets and I feel I can draw better on DeltaCad. I'm new with the ECabinet software and don't have the draw feature down yet. After some practice it might be just as good but I'm so happy with DeltaCad for drawing I'm not sure I want to learn a new system.
