Can anyone help identify mfr., name of woodworking machine?
On an old episode of This Old House, one of the crew, probably Norm, went on a field trip to a cabinet maker employed to do some work on that project. In that episode, the cabinet maker showed a machine he had which drilled many shelf pin holes at one time. Does anyone know which TOH project, who is the mfr. of this machine and what this type of machine is called? I am not interested in buying one, but I would like to know how it works, i.e. does each drill have a separate motor, or gears, pulleys? Thanks.

They are called spindle boring machines with Blum very popular in pro shops. They use a gear driven head and RH and LH bits to make the gear case less complicated.

CMT has a very good selection of RH and LH bits.
