I’m looking to upgrade the resaw capability of my Grizzly 17″HD BS. I currently use a timberwolfe resaw blade and while its served me pretty well, I want an improved finished cut. I’m looking at the Lenox Woodmaster CT 1″ or the Laguna Resaw King 1″ blade. I’ll continue the use of the Timberwolfe blades they are very economical, but for the slicing of veneers, I’m going to spend the bucks and get a good blade.
Any of you folks had experience with either of those two blades?

Good Carbite Tipped Blades
I use the Resaw King 1" on my Grizzly 17" . The blades perform well, and will take 3 or 4 sharpenings by Laguna for a fair price. Sawmillcreek Forum readers get discounts from Laguna, be sure to check that out also.
Thanks for the headsup about sawmill creek discount. I'll call them. You buy two get one free on their site. I was hoping a couple more grizzly 17" owners and we could split it three ways and get a great blade for a steal. Ok you Grizzly owners anybody interested?
WOW thanks for the tip!
Hey thanks for the tip on the Sawmill creek discount it was great! saved me about 50 bucks! Can't wait to use the blade!
I have a 1" Laguna Resaw King
I have a 1" Laguna Resaw King and a 1" Lenox Tri-master for my MiniMax MM16. Both cut equally well. Get the best deal and go for it.
I second the Lenox TriMaster. Any size and any length. *Be sure to ask for a factory weld.
I buy at Carbide.com
Hey, Ricklodico, where do you buy from?
Ill call them first nest time i need to order. Thank you
Figures.
I just tried to register with Sawmill Creek. They want your real name. Which is fine.
What isn't so fine is that if you happen to have an unusual name, (like Chucklenaskit) they won't register you.
Chucklenaskit is an old name in my tribe.
That one fact tells me everything I need to know about Sawmill Creek.
It also tells me that you need to have a white name to be a member there.
isn't that
an Irish name?
ron
No. They would have taken an Irish name, I saw a lot of them there.
It's American Indian. Eastern Washington. Near Tonaskit. (Which is another name I doubt they'd take.)
well my last name
is David and they took that.. Common native last name here in B.C. My g/grandmother was Sto-lo from the Chilliwack, b.c. area. i was just teasing about the Irish. they are all patrick fitz-geoge and george fitz-patrick!!

Good to hear-- growth about that is good everywhere. Have you noticed any other problems there?
Someday...
Broken Blade
The reason that blade broke is because the backing was too thick to go around a flywheel that small.
Try lagunas Resawking it will cut better and has a thinner backing so it will not break.
I'm having a bit of trouble locating this coupon code, I've been registered for a while but this is the first I've heard of it. Probably because I haven't dealt much with laguna up until now. Either way, I like saving a buck or two anywhere I can so any help would be appreciated.
