I read the latest issue of Woodsmith and would like to make the pencil post bed shown. On the back page they show how to carve a lambs tongue. To my eye it looked rather abrupt, I always imagined it would be a gentle curve to bring the chamfer to a conclusion. Anyone else read the article and have any comments? Is there a diagram somewhere showing one? Just wondering!
Thanks
John

That's what a lambs tongue is to me. You can always modify it to your liking. We have a saying...Learn the rules then you can break the rules! Learn to search google and you can answer your own questions.
Thanks- I did try google but couldn't find pictures. That one seemed much more gracefull then the one in Woodsmith.

I saw the one in Woodsmith and I see no difference in the reference I posted. Classic lambs tongue!
Yeah, You #@$% , how dare you post a question on this board!!! :P
The most challenging part of the process is getting the lamb to cooperate.
