I know that someone out in sawdust land can point me in the right direction. I am looking for 2 carving gouges, a #7-20mm and a #8-7mm. Lots of them out their, but I can’t seemed to locate the one’s listed above.
Help anyone!

I don't know if you have a specific brand in mind. I have some Pfeil carving tools and they are available in the sizes you want.

sparky,
I bought my Pfeils at Woodcraft and I'm sure they have them also.

Try toolsforworkingwood.com. I've bought plenty of their Ashley-Iles carving tools.
Hi Sparky:
These guys have a good selection:

It looks like they may be closing out of Stubai (my own preferred brand), but they carry Two Cherries, Dastra and the Deifenbacher house brand. I've had very pleasant dealings with them in the past, and they're quite knowledgeable.

I've got a set of Pfeil (I think it's pronounced "file". Most call them Swiss-made) gouges and highly recommend them. They have comfortable octagonal handles which don't roll around too much. They are also polished. I have an attraction to to shiny objects!

I had a guy that makes his living at carved furniture, and he uses Lamp brand, swears by them. Used many others, and settled on them.
Just a thought.
