Got 100 + 30″ x 30″ cedar signs almost ready for sandblasting and the quote for graghics supplied on at $50.00 per sign side.So I’m looking for a creative sollution to :
create graphics cheaper-lease plotter??
or find another method to create signs. I know it could be done with a cnc router but is their a professional method of creating lettering using a hand held router.
Could we have a an alphabet or 2 cut out of lexan to serve as templates for a router with a template bushing guide?

can you make one master template- out of plexiglass, HPL, or sheet metal?

Yes, but I think you will get better results and simplify your layouts by using pattern bits instead.
Some people are skillful enough to do sign routing freehand. You might want to check into using a router pantograph.
