Has anyone successfully mounted a Delta Uniguard from the ceiling instead of mounting it to the table?
I’d appreciate any info on the topic.

There was a Method of Work submission regarding this in Fine Woodworking No. 158 (October 2002). The overarm blade guard was entirely shop made however and not a customized after-market device like you are trying to do.
