"not to happy today yankees lost to detroit." Sorry you're sad, but us Mariners fans tend to revel in a Yankees loss, unless it's against Oakland (maybe). ROFL.

Boy, they sure did this post-season! Did anyone think they'd fall in the first round? Oh well, we're going to get in trouble for hijacking soon -- I hear the hoofbeats of the Topic Police, ROFL!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
...and..? Go TIGERS.......GRRRRRRRRR from the RED SOX nation!...a bad day at the beach is better than a good day anywhere else... :)
Dear Beach,
Oh yeah..............the Sox put a fine showing! What do you think about Mr. Ortiz in pinstripes?......................... (Might be nice, but we still have NO pitching!)John
I've been on the Left coast for sooo many years now but always the Sox fan. I'm getting numb to the idea that these clowns follow the $$ and nothing else. They have more than most mortals but yet they persist. I'm more of the team/city fan than one for the players. Just one of those things I'll probably always do.
As far as the pinstripes.....I'll always choke trying to get their name through my lips. For no other reason than they are the Y------ and George owns 'em.

Now, I've been a Yankee fan all of my life, but I have a lot of family from Boston and therefore are afflicted with that tendency towards self abuse. I don't follow it like I used to, but I never mind seeing the Yanks beat you guys. That being said, I will fully admit that Boston is FAR more civilized than the Bronx and I think that the Sox fans are some of the most loyal, in particular to the game of baseball itself. With the possible exception of St. Louis there probably aren't any more knowledgeable or appreciative fans in the game. Oh, they will kill their own, but they will also cheer a genuinely good play by an opposing player as well. Think we'll ever see that in the Bronx? Best,John
topic police we are adults and yes my yankees crashed and burned
teh yankee statement was in my original post
"teh yankee statement was in my original post" I had forgotten that. All's well. The Topic Police know who they are, LOL. Most of them are confirmed Libertarians until yours truly starts chatting about baseball or cats, then they get all regimental on us. Too funny.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Forestgirl,

Heya! I'm on Bainbridge Island (9 miles directly west of Seattle). Where the heck is Oysterville ... [off she goes to Mapquest....] Wow! You're waaaaayyyy down there and all the way to the West!
Drop me an email! I collect emails for WA and N. Oregon woodworkers for the mailing list for the next Seattle area Knots Fest (TBA).forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I think you'll have difficulty getting adequate atomization with your compressor on any HVLP conversion gun I'm aware of. I'm not sure of the math formula you're looking for, but it's probably covered at your gun manufacturer's website. To get back to my point regarding CFM, my "medium duty" compressor puts out 5.1 CFM @ 90psi and just under 3.5 at 40psi... and I had a lot of difficulty properly atomizing anything but really thinned finishes, even when I tried the various needle/nozzle and aircap combinations available from my gun manufacturer.

I've been using the Wagner HVLP conversion gun with my PC pancake compressor and have no troubles. Yea, it surprised me too!http://www.gleempaint.com/hvcongunnew.html

The maths says that 90/10 x 2.6cfm = 23.4 cfm (@10 psi) or 90/20 x 2.6cfm = 11.7 cfm (@20 psi). Now someone will go and disprove that.....
Scrit
thank you for the formula
