I am making a rocking chair for our grandchildren. The seat is 15 “x 13.” What are some ways that I can I make the flat seat concave?
Thanks, Tom

Scorps and inshaves are commonly used tools for shaping chair seats. These may be followed by rasps, scrapers and sanding.

Tom, Look at these Saburr Tooth carving disks for use with 4" angle grinder. Or, Norton makes a flap sander for an angle grinder. The flap sander is the one I have. There is still going to be a lot of hand work.
