This will be a bit repeatitious to some but I thought I would just post a couple of photos for the guys who wrote to me asking about shaping windsor seats. Carving the seat is what I enjoy the most. After 100 I still love it. I know guys that have jigs they have spent hours building and they are very proud of the results they get. It takes time to set them up and they get quick results. I just use the hand tools because I enjoy it.
For those that are curious about windsors or any part of the building process let me direct your attention to a great site.
You will really enjoy the site– its chuck full of information and the guys are so helpful in the “Chair Talk” section. Before you jump in with questions, look at all of the folders. There are answers to just about every step of building a windsor. Take a look.

Man, I hope I'm still making sawdust when I'm 100. ;)
