I had to replace the 1 HP motor on my Delta 14″ Band saw with a Dayton 1 HP motor.
On the motor label it says rotation can be CW/CCW. It is turning in a counter clockwise direction and I need to change it to rotate in a clockwise direction. There is no wiring diagram showing how to do this. Could you tell me the proper way to do this?

The information could be in one of two places. Sometimes it is right on the motors spec plate, in a tiny little diagram. On most motors it is inside of the connection box, usually on a paper label on the underside of the cover that you remove to get inside of the box.
The information is almost always just a tiny little schematic diagram showing how the four to six wires inside of the box are connected both to each other and to the power leads from the switch. The leads are either marked by color, the easy way, or the wires are all the same color and you have to read some tiny little numbers printed on the insulation to sort out which is which.
If the motor was new, the information is probably also in a small brochure that came in the packaging. But if you don't have the brochure, the wiring diagram is almost always on the motor itself.
