I believe they're a reputable
I believe they're a reputable company however I've bought from Hearne & Hearne which was a little closer to me from my direction. If you have much of a drive, call first, as sometimes they may be out of stock at any particular moment.
I have purchased from them many, many times. The quality of the wood that I have purchased has always been outstanding. The yield is much higher than I get from cherry purchased locally on the west coast.
When I call I explain what I am looking for and have found their customer service to quiet high.

I'm about 1,100 miles from Groff with no local suppliers. Repeat customers pleased with quality and service was what I was hoping to hear.
Thanks for your time,
Very satisfied. Even though I bought only small quantities, they worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. Wider pieces (14"+) have not warped. Will use again.
Groff & Groff is my 'go to'
Groff & Groff is my 'go to' lumber yard.. I have purchased from them about a dozen times.. I currently live about 700 miles from their location in Quarryville Pa. I recently purchased 400 Bf of Cherry..
The quality of the lumber is very good.. The one time I did have an issue with some case hardened Walnut, they exchanged the lumber no questions asked..
I have also purchased from Good Hope Hardwoods and quite frankly I wouldn't hesitate from buying lumber sight unseen from any of these suppliers
