I am looking for some good plans for a child rocker. I can’t seem to find any that I like or would want in my portfolio. I need one that has some classic lines and it will be heirloom quality. Please advise.

Scott,
FWW #87 features an article by Mario Rodriguez on making a child's tandem rocker; the seats face each other. It should be simple to convert it to a single rocker if you like. This model is a Windsor style. GP
*There's also links to two child's rockers here http://www.321website.com/members/home/data/freewoodworkingplan/homepage2.html
Did you find a plan for a child's rocker? I looked at issue 87. Could not open the issue and only saw the one plan for something other than a rocker. Not sure I am happy with my subscription.
I've had good success starting out by modeling full sized furniture in SketchUp and then scaling it down to make a child-sized version.
For all rocking chairs, I recommend the Hal Taylor design and process. It's more expensive than FREE, but you start at page one and go! by the time you finished the manual, you have a beautiful rocker, properly sized and proportioned.
A 20-year old thread... the requester is probably a granddad at this point, and the child is building one for his child.

So, nothing to add?
When my granddaughter was born in 2013, I wanted to make her a rocker. I saw a picture in Fine Woodworking that looked perfect. It was just in the background of a picture and I can't recall where I saw it. It was made by Mike Pekovich.
Here's a picture of my chair and the plan Mike sent me.
