I am looking for a well made durable hammerdrill for no more than $180. My intentions are to install about 200 feet of wood molding to a brick wall. I have considered the Bosch 1194, Bosch 1199, Bosch 11250 Rotary Hammer or the Hilit 650. It won’t get much use but I would like something to hold up over time. I have read the hammerdrills get quite hot during use. Just how hot are we talking about?
Bosch 1194 $120-$140 8 AMPS

I don't know how much it costs in the US. but I would look at the Rigid [Home Depot] hammer drill. I am fairly certain that it is made by Metabo, and I don't think there are too many better hammer drills in the price range. Peter
Pay the extra money and get the hilti. Nobodt builds a hammerdrill like them. There bits are top of the line too.
Rover1,
I just bought a Milwaukee and used it to drill over 100 holes to install hurricane shutters. I bought it at HD and pay around $145 if I recall correctly. I liked the balance, power and would buy it again.

Hilti is probably your best choice of hammerdrill, but don't rule out Milwaukee if the price is a big concern

I bought a no name rotary hammer drill, very cheap.10 times better than the ordinary hammer drill.
Hilti being the last word, but a question of how much use you have for it.
