Ok, not really. I believe I read an article Chris wrote (hope I’m crediting the correct author) on Finish for an outdoor deck. Now that were in a new home, and my freshly built mahogony deck, I can’t find the article. I searched online, and what back issues I can find (new house, where are all my FWW and FHB mags anyway?). I assume it was in FWW in the finishing corner in the rear of the mag, but may have been in FHB.
Any help? Absent that, any good ideas for a finish? How about Boiled linseed oil, spar varnish and turpentine? It is the top rail of the railing that is mahagony.
thanks for the help.

Chris,
You're in luck. I just happened to read this article last night when I was scanning thru some back issues. It's in FWW #135, Wood vs. Weather: the scoop on outdoor finishes. (Involves mixing mineral spirits, exterior varnish and paraffin wax.) GP
