I would like to provide storage cabinets for my church’s sacristy. Has anyone had any experience with a similar project? Would you be willing to share your plans and experiences? Thank you in advance.

Are you gonna be working from "commitee directions" or from directions of priest/pastor. If it's by committee, the thing to do is to deal with only one person, a spokesperson or co-ordinator, put all yer suggestions on paper, provide it to them for comment, then quote. And when you quote, expect that there will be some changes, even after all the parties have "signed off" on it.
If it's a Catholic church, touch base with the Priest in charge about the requirements for canon law....that could have some effect on requirements for locks on some cabinets, as it seems that only the Priest-in-charge is supposed to have keys to some locks. And the type of security may alter the construction requirements of some cabinets.
I do some work for the local Catholic church, and they are a good steady client, but the "committee" approach can be a tad daunting at times. Decisions can take months to make. Once you get used to that, good work will be appreciated.
This church incidently likes oak.

Thanks for the reply. I have complete control of the work so there is not a committee to satisfy, fortunately. Do you have any plans or specs you can share?
