I want to use Gary Williams technique for cutting plywood using a circular saw. His video shows a DeWalt circular saw whose base can be adjusted parallel with the saw blade using a pivot screw. I’m having trouble finding such a feature on any circular saw at my Home Depot or Lowe’s. Can anyone help? Thanks

This isn't a common feature on circular saws, I don't know of any other saw that has an adjustment similar to the DeWalt's. On most saws you can get the base and blade parallel by gently twisting the hinge or by filing the edge of the base.

Thanks. The DeWalt 364K has such an adjustment according to the online product guide. The other DeWalt models don't. PS, thanks for all your shop information on the FWW site. Billy Dee
