circular saw, how to change the blade?
I have no instruction manual for my “Benchtop Pro” circular saw.
I want to change the blade… do I have to take the entire saw apart? I can’t
get the blade out with just taking the nut off. I can’t believe it’s this difficult
every time you want to switch blades.
Any help would be appreciated.

Every table saw I've ever seen lets you change the blade by undoing the arbor nut, and sliding the blade off the end of the arbor and up out of the table.
Umm.. is your problem that you can't undo the arbor nut? Depending on how your saw is designed, the nut might be a left-handed thread, not the usual right-handed one. Look carefully at the threads on the arbor shaft to see which direction to unscrew the nut.
Thanks, but the nut came off easy... it just wouldn't clear the housing and the blade wouldn't slide out. We had to bend
the blade to finally remove it. Now, problem is, I can't get
the blade for cutting metal on. It's not flexible.
I had a similar problem with mine until I found that by setting the blade over to 45o it would clear the spindle and bottom housing.
Thank you... that is probably what I need to do.. because once the
nut is off, I still couldn't get it to clear the bottom spindle to
slide out. Plus, the blade cover prevented me from lifting it at
an angle to slide it out.
