Dear All,
I had recently read Mike Dunbar’s Workbench’s article. He used a circularsaw that can tilt possibly up to 45 deg. I supposed. (cannot find symbol for degrees on my keypad).
Q : Is there tilting circularsaw in the market? Maybe I am out of date, I admit.
Thanking you in advance.
I am sorry if I do not respond you instantly. I visit FWN during office hours when most of KNOT forum members are sleeping and I do my woodworking at home when my neighbour are about to sleep.

Good evening Masrol. All American, Japanese and European circular saws I have ever seen can be tilted to 45 degrees to make angle cuts. I have a Shop-mate that was made in the 1950's and it tilts also. Mounted under a piece of ply-wood in 1972, it became my first table-saw and a good one at that. It taught me early that you are only limited by lack of imagination and know-ledge... not lack of tools.

1. Most every circular saw I know of will tilt 45°
2. To make the degree sign type - Alt 0176

As others have said CS's will tilt. Mine is a Porter Cable with a magnesium (light weight) base and will tilt. There will be some type of scale on the side to indicate the degree of tilt. If you look at different brands, be sure to take a 45 triangle and check it's trueness. Set the base at 45 and put the triangle at the front of the bland and at the rear of the blade to make sure the model you select is true down the lenght of the base. The cheaper saws may be off a small amount. If that happens it will drive you nuts. Good luck on the choice. I use mine mainly to rip plywood down to size for use on the TS.
Hi grinder47, ring and bones.
Thanks for the info.
