I made this simple clamp holders for all my misc. clamps. Using a 4′ 2×4 and 1″ dowel rods. screwed it into my vertical studs behing my wall, plus glueing it with Liquid Nails. I drill holes 3/4 into the 2×4’s, spacing the holes 4″ apart so I can place the dowels where needed. It is very easy to build and no great skills needed. Once placed I did glue dowels in place.

Looking at your tools and shop pictures (both the drill press table and clamp rack) it seems you're relatively new to the hobby (Old timers like me have huge piles of sawdust, a hundred board feet of "someday" lumber, and piles of tools on a workbench in the photos). Also, you obviously take a great deal of pride in your work and want to share your successes with your fellow enthusiasts. Good for you and welcome to the ranks! Woodworking is a great hobby and gives you an avenue for self expression while building useful items that will long outlast our short stay on this earth.
Keep it up - work hard to polish your skills - you can learn a lot hanging around forums like this one - pay attention to those who want to help - always be willing to critique your own work but never beat yourself up. It's understood that each project you build will be better than the last and that someday you'll look back and think you'd like to rebuild many of your early tries. Keep striving and, most of all, enjoy your labor, and labor safely.
Your drill press table looks sturdy and very functional - the clamp rack is a great idea and will help you keep organized (being disorganized is a huge time waster - you're off to a good start).
Be proud of what you do and always desire to do better. I expect to see you post some fantastic work as your skills continue to improve - and remember, even the most accomplished of us will make mistakes and we will always be looking to do better on the next project.
Regard it as just as desirable to build a chicken house as to build a cathedral.

Your solution is okay if you have the space as this type uses up a lot of wall space. I'm tight on space so tend to design for the most economical use of space. I use an arrangement similar to a towel bar. This way I can hang a lot more clamps in the same space and each one is very accessable. I don't have to worry about moving one clamp to get to the one on the bottem of the stack. The same arrangement is used for my hammers. I made a rack with slots cut for each type and can hang twice as many hammers in the same space.
Just a comment from the heart, try to guess how tall you will be in thirty years. I hung most things overhead so I could just reach up and grab them. I did not allow for shrinkage and am too proud to move things so use what I can and don't put anything back!
