To All:
I am looking to purchase either a Clayton industrial spindle sander or a Clayton portable spindle sander-model 146. I have tried to find their web site but have had no luck. Can anyone help me with this? Is there a supplier for Clayton products in Denver Colorado?
Thanks for your help

I think the Claytons are still made one at a time by order.

Gee I looked for the poster and I got noplace!Great find!
I almost bought a Clayton for a school shop. I already had a State 9" floor model. Based on what we needed a spindle sander for and the money, I bought a couple of PC Boss sanders plus a bunch of other stuff. Hated those 9" cylinders and we only used a couple inches of them most of the time. I didn't like the Morse taper on the State either, it could come loose if not seated well or leaned on too hard. The Clayton sanders are nice machines but they are a bit expensive if you don't need the full time duty.Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
I looked at the Claytons and every other spindle sander I could find and decided on the Shop Fox. I am a production shop and it has had steady use for the last three years. It has been trouble free and has performed flawlessly. I believe it is identical to the Grizzly but for paint scheme and it has a larger table.
