Does anyone know what cloud feet ( hidden feet that make it appear the credenza is “floating”? I am building a large credenza and it needs extra support in the middle because of its size but I don’t want to detract from its current appearance. Thoughts?

Figure out your viewing angles from maximum distance and add blocks under your credenza that are just out of range. Easy way is to put a light source at eye level at that height/ distance and kill the room lights. The shadow line is your horizon of visibility.
If that is too deep you can paint the supports black or match them to the flooring so they visually recede.
It's not difficult to achieve that illusion, depending upon how far above the floor the bottom of the credenza is. Simply put it on a platform that is backset an inch more than the distance off the floor on the front and two sides(assuming it is against a wall) , paint it black and it should be all but invisible to anyone not lying on the floor. Obviously the closer to the floor it is the easier it is to sell the illusion.
I just use antigrav units. Just make sure to size them to the weight of the credenza.
Another advantage of the anti gravs is with the elimination of the feet altogether it frightens the dust bunnies and they tend to stay away!
And the lack of feet gives the robotic cleaners better access.
Does your credenza have drawers? If the feet are too far inside will the unit tip when you open a heavy filled drawer? Will it tip even if the feet are to the outside?
