My grandson needs to do a paper on colonial wookworking tools. He’s 14.
Any ideas on where he can find some good source info suitable for a 14 year old that wants to get an A?

Check out "Williamsburg, Decorating with Style". I have used it to refresh my memories of the style of woodworking and details found in Williamsburg. It has been a great source book for information and inspiration. It is published by Clarkson N. Potter Inc (Random House) for The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.

Check on Amazon.com for the Eric Sloane book Early American Tools. They also have other books on early American tools.
My husband collects antique tools and we often have to look up the original use of them.
