I recently saw an article or a short blurb about coloring glazing compound, anyone know where to find it? Or anyone have a quick explanation? I’ve built a display case and need to have a mahogany colored glaze to match the rest of the finish.

Chief,
I was the guy who asked. I was told to use water putty and dye it with compatable powder or liquid.
chief,
I buy DAP brand painter's putty (not glazing compound). Color with universal tinting colors, and thicken back up to regain the proper consistancy with commercial whiting (Rainbow products) available at paint stores. Blend all together to get an even color throughout, then glaze the door as you would usually do.

Ray
Thanks guys' I'll give it a shot.
