Do you have a model number? What parts do you need?
Columbian appears to be owned by Wilton, or by the same company that owns Wilton.
I'll see if I can find a model #. It was bought at a school auction, so purchased by schools at one time, probably from the 50's. It has a quick screw, flat on one side and the mechanism that does it is underneath a cap that was broken at one time and repaired by a somewhat clumsly weld job that doesn't fix the problem.
have you tried a local machine shop?
EXACTALLY.. Bring the whole thing in so they can see what you want..
A good shop CAN fix it! Probabbly for a reasonable price too! Well, shops that take in outside work that is...
I went to take it apart and could find nothing wrong with it, put it back together and now it works fine. You'd have to see it to understand. thanks for the input anyway.
Try e-Bay... but it may take awhile; you can get them to email search results when an item comes up.
