Hi all. Does anyone have any experience with the Lee Valley Commercial Multi Fence System?
I am considering upgrading the fence on my table saw and have never really heard any good or bad discussions on the LV fence system. It looks to be very nice and has a very simple yet effective way of removing the UHWM face from the fence. That would be very handy for making your own custom faces for the fence system.
My other options would be the Uni-Fence or the Biesemeyer. Thanks in advance for your knowledge.

I do not have one... Nor do I know anyone that has it..
I'd call Lee Valley and ask them.. Tell them what you expect..
THEY will tell you the TRUTH if it fits into what you want..
Just me though...
Lee,
I have the large version on my Jet Contractor, have used it for about 2 years now and absolutely love it.
It is easy to install and adjust, stays true, the removable faces work like they promise (as does everything I've ever bought from LV) and the micro-adjust is pretty nice, although not necessary. It does take a little getting used to, because when you tighten the micro-adjust mechanism down to use it and then lock the fence, you have to remember to unlock and loosen the micro adjust before moving the fence.
All in all it is extremely well made, works great and I would buy it again in a second.

Thanks Matt. I figured it would have to be excellent to keep up with LV's track record. I have lots of this and that from LV including the router table and top and everything is always top notch. It is expensive though, but I know it will be incredible quality.
Have you made any other auxillary fence faces yourself and used the clip system they use? If so how hard was it to figure out where to rout the slots and install the clips in the back of the one you made? Did you make it out of wood or UHMW material?
Thanks for your time.

It is expensive thoughOld sayin' here in Chicago.. You get what ya pay for MOST of the time...
Lee,
Sorry for the slow response, been kinda swamped and was out of town for a wedding this weekend.
I do have a set of the extra clips, and I've been meaning to make a replacement fence face with a replaceable insert for rabbetting with my dado head, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
If anyone else has done this, I'd love to hear about it myself.
Matt
Just to clarify, this fence is not by Lee Valley. It's an HTC product.
