I am looking to select door hinges and drawer slides for a kitchen I will be building soon. The cabinets will have face frames and would like to use concealed euro door hinges. I like the looks of the Blum tandem drawer slides but it appears they have a limited selection of concealed FF door hinges. Anyone have experience with the Blum FF hinges?? Looking for feedback or perhaps recomendations of other manufacturers. Thanks – Mark

You can use almost any of the Blum hinges. Some have an "inset" version, in addition to "overlay" and "half-overlay". But where not, I've found that a "half-overlay" hinge with a higher baseplate than standard will almost always give a perfectly workable solution. We use 1000's of these on inset kitchen doors.

PS - You must use a spacer (or a double cabinet wall) to set the hinge's baseplate flush with the edge of your faceframe. Same for drawer slides. Personally, I always use double wall materials. Slightly more material cost, but easy and clean look in the end.

You don't need to use Blum's 'face frame' hinges, they make face frame adapters that work with all their excellent clip top hinges. There are two versions of the adapter. It's a pita to figure everything out for the first time because you need to use an adapter (the part that screws to the face frame) and a hinge that are compatible with the amount of overlay you want, etc. There's a matrix that gives (desired) overlap, offset of hinge cup (from edge of door), height of adapter.
This site shows how the euro hinges are mounted.

Here's Blum's pdf (with matrices) catalog:
