I will be moving into a new house next spring on north east CT and have a nice area planned for my shop in the basement. I have seen the house in all four seasons and the floor remians very dry. The concrete is a bit rough but I want to get opinions if any of the epoxy floor coatings are really up to the job.
I’d like to be able to sweep the floor easily and stop major stains.
Thanks in advance.

Check out TNEMEC N69 Epoxiline II.
I just used this to seal a LARGE fountain for a client and it's bomb-proof. They use this stuff to paint municipal water towers, underground concrete patable water tanks, etc. My brother is an engineer and spec'd this stuff for a local university's fountain and other projects.
It's a two part expoxy, and can be thinned for spraying. If the surface is prepped correctly and the application instructions are followed, this paint/sealer will last forever. It's about $55 a gallon and comes in a two gallon kit (Part A and Part B).
Pay particular attention to the "newly poured concrete" section.
Worth looking into if you want something pro-grade.
