I read the article a few months ago and was very impressed. I didn’t picture you looking like that though. I pictured a short guy in a wood shop in an kilt with a cup of tea in his hand or something. The variation on the cabriole leg was very creative. At first glance it looks complicated to make, but you did a good job of simplifying it with the jig. Just joking about the kilt. Really nice work though, beautiful.

That Richard Jones and I studied together, and I have to admit that I know him quite well still. I can personally vouch that the guy is a near brain dead plankton of the first order, but he'll be overwheeningly pleased that you liked his mindless drivelling in print,........if and when I feel like passing on your compliments to him. He gets insufferably boorish, and celebrates by drinking too much alcohol at the slightest boost to his puny ego. He is very British as you imagined, and does drink an enormous quantity of that nasty hot tea, with milk. Yeuch!
