Hi,
I recently have completed building a tool cabinet for small hand tools. Due to the depth of the cabinet and the door depth I am having a hard time finding large continuous hinges. I am looking for a hinge that is around 4-5 inches wide with holes at least 1 3/4″ from the knuckle (I have decorative frames on the faces of door and cabinet). I have done a lot of looking on the internet and have found manufacturer suppliers but I only need 2 hinges and dont really want to buy a lot of hinges that I will probably never use. Does anyone know of a good hinge outfit that might be a source for a couple of big continuous hinges?
Thanks ,
Greg Kopp

Greg, look here. http://www.mcmaster.com/ type "continuous hinge" in the search box. They have them up to 5" wide (open width), and available individual 6' lengths.
*Jeff,Thank you very much for the mcmaster site information. I went to the site and checked it out it looks like they have some hinges that will fit my requirements. I really appreciate your response! Thanks Again,Cheers,Greg Kopp
*Here's another source I used several years ago for some very large stainless steel piano hinges:http://www.jamestowndistributors.com
*Thanks Bill,I will check out the site you listed. I appreciate your assistance. Thanks,Cheers,Greg Kopp
*Jeff, Thanks again, I ordered the hinges I needed Monday night and they were delivered today (Wednesday). The site was very informative, and it was a great relief to finally be able to find the hinges I needed without the hassles of bulk buying. I have the site bookmarked now for future purchases. Take Care,Greg
*Glad to hear they could help you Greg. There are cheaper places, for common items, but McMasterr has just about everything, and I have been extremely pleased with their "in stock" inventory, and fast shiping at UPS "ground" rates. Jeff
