I’m looking for an article on a Coopered Top toolbox that was published a couple of years ago, possibly more. I thought it was in FWW but I don’t see anything in the index. It may have been in another publication. The box was of cherry with a sunburst pattern on the ends and inlayed with the makers name and year of construction, and was about 20″X12″X 12″.
Additionaly if anyone has made the box I would appreciate any tips.
Thanks, Marty

Marty,
There's a 24"x12"x18" tote with a coopered lid in cherry in The Toolbox Book, page 168 onwards that sounds kind of similar. FWIW

Alf,
That's the same one, thanks. I forgot it was in Jim Tolpin's "The Toolbox Book" also. It originaly appeared in a magazine about a year before and I'm looking for that article as well. The article contained additional construction information.
Thanks for the help
Marty
It's on the cover of FWW 105, but the article inside does not say anything about it. The article inside 105 shows photos of tool chests that are in Tolpin's book.
Jim,
Yea, that the same box, but I could swear that it appeared in an article prior to FWW 105. Tolpin's book gives some good information and I'm going to make one using that as a model. I just wanted to get as much info as possible before starting the project. It just drives me crazy, when I think I have seen it someplace before and can't find it.
Thanks for the info.
Marty
