BruceS,
Thank you for being up front about your affiliation with a brand/manufacturer.
I enjoy reading the helpful posts of several very knowledgeable owners and manufacturers here on Knots, because these particular individuals don't try to push their products. They inform the reader or the inquirer based on their extensive knowledge of a product or a process or a skill.
It is great to have some very knowledgeable people here on Knots help others in need.
Thanks again,
Alan - planesaw
It is rumored that Eagle bits are made by Whiteside. Can you reveal if that's true?********************************************************

I like Freud
We have used several over the years. Freud, Whiteside, Amana. They are all good bits, however, we tried LRH once and that is all we used for a number of years before buying a shaper. Now we use LRH cutters on our shapers. The LRH bits gave us a better fit and the finish cut was better than the rest. They seemed to last longer also. They are more expensive though. We purchased ours from Ridge Carbide.
