Copper or wrought iron source for cabint
I am getting ready to build a set of wall hung bookcase / TV cabinets as a corner unit for some folks. They would like the design to reflect sort of a western theme to match the rest of the house. To incorporate this design, I would like to include some metal work as either part of the molding (wrought iron maybe) or exposed fasteners at the corners of the face frame (copper or wrought iron nail heads?). Any ideas on where to find a source for copper or wrought iron that would be appropriate?
If anyone has ever built anything along like this as a western (as in cowboy) theme, I would appreciate your ideas. Thanks. Gary

I'm not clear from your post whether you're wanting to buy something finished or make something yourself from metal. If it's the latter, this place might be worth a look for the copper http://www.onlinemetals.com/ I've bought brass from them before and found their prices and service to be good. Cant help you with the wrought iron though.
If you build it he will come.
there are some blacksmiths on e-bay selling handmade nails. You could contact one of them or any local blacksmith. Handmade nails go for about a buck apiece nowadays.
Lee Valley has a good variety of copper and wrought iron nails in their hardware section.
Google up Horton Brasses and ask for a catalog Steinmetz
I don't know if they're still in business but a company called Acorn Hardware in Mass. somewhere had a really good line of forged iron fittings of all kinds. Try to find them.
